Audio Products Multi-Source Multi-Zone Distributed Audio Systems The title appears to be complicated but will be clear after providing an explanation to the terms. Imagine coming home, pressing a button and music fills the air. Meanwhile your children are listening to their favourite music in their bedrooms. All the equipment is located out of sight for security or aesthetics, but controlled from any room in the house. The music seems to engulf the room, but there are no large speaker boxes to be seen. Each speaker is colour matched to the wall or ceiling and blends into the room’s décor.
A distributed audio system can be designed for the listening preference of the homeowner. Items that define the selection of equipment include; number of sources, number of zones, type of control, quality of audio, size of the zones, personal audio listening levels and cost. Powered volume controls such, as an Abus volume control, would be perfect for an audio system that is for ambient music listening. For larger rooms, a powered amplifier assigned to the area can provide sufficient listening levels. tvcAutomation can equip you with the ability to listen to music throughout your home. The source of music and sound level can be adjusted in each room independently.Presently, we offer three levels of audio installations: 1) volume controls and speaker switches; 2) ABUS audio distibution;3) and RNET whole house audio control. Volume Controls and Speaker Switches Using your current audio components, the amplifier speaker output can be distributed to several rooms. Each room would have a volume control to set the sound level. Every room would hear the same music source. ABUS distributed audio system uses your existing audio sources but each volume control has a built-in amplifier. Each room could also listen to separate audio sources at the same time. To select an audio source, the user could use a remote control directed to the volume control or by pressing buttons on the volume control. The Russound RNET distributed audio system enables one to select and control the source of audio that is heard in a room through a keypad or computer web page. Apple IPODs can be centrally located and controlled remotely through any keypad, touch screen or computer. With the CAV6.6 controller, you can have 6 audio and video sources delivered to 6 rooms up to a maximum of 48 rooms. A music server can provide up to three separate streams of audio to different three areas at the same time. A dual tuner can be added to the system to provide AM/FM and satellite audio to any room. | ||
